Lawrence Jackson was born in 1968 and studied at Bournemouth Film School, after which he worked as Assistant Director and Script Supervisor on several shorts and two feature films. Currently a freelance film-maker and Radio Drama Producer, he was also Bi-Media Producer, 1999-2001, with BBC Northern Ireland Drama.
Recent credits as Director include the documentary short Sedlec and the BBC Northern Lights short drama The Wayfarer; his other shorts include Situation Dog and Buttons. Producer/Director credits for BBC Radio 4 include three series of the murder-mystery Baldi starring David Threlfall, two series of Ghost Stories by John Connolly, and the dramas The Giant's Cause..., Carmilla, Take the Bus, Barry Lyndon, The Charterhouse of Parma and Bull Epic. He is presently working on a number of feature film projects, both as Script Editor and Director.
